Established in 1908, Experimental Physiology focuses on the translation and integration of research. Experimental Physiology publishes high quality, original, physiological research papers that give novel insights into fundamental homeostatic and adaptive responses in health, and papers that further our knowledge of pathophysiological mechanisms in diseases.

Experimental Physiology papers report investigations of physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms using bioinformatic, genomic, molecular, proteomic, cellular and whole animal approaches. Methodological papers and papers that use computational models to further our understanding of physiological processes are also covered.
